The magicians charm seems to have Azania in a trance. He has a small but powerful hold on Azania who seems to believe everything he tells her. His magic has Azania believing that Swaziland and Lesotho are not Part of South Africa, but Madagascan and Mauritius are part of Africa regardless of the fact that they are an ocean apart. The magician has used great magic to turn many Azanians into Ancestors. Ancestors who only seem to have an appetite for spilled alcohol. He is so powerful. Azania is weak in all his strengths because he doesn’t understand the magicians need for so much gold. It’s a long narrow path to that golden way of life for Azania but it a risk so pretty.
